What Causes Itchy Lump On Inner Calf?

I just found a pee size, fixed lump on the inner side of my distal calf. I found it bc my leg itched. It was pain free until I started pushing on it to see if it moved freely or was attached :) It is attached, meaning fixed in place and does not move. There is no bruising or swelling and it doesn t feel soft like a lipoma. I don t recall being injured recently. So, should I see my doc right away, or can I wait and watch for a couple months?
