What Causes Itchy, Red Bumps On Hand?

I was just outside for about 2 hours and just noticed my left hand has tiny red itchy bumps. I live in Youngstown, Ohio. Today it was about 80-85 degrees. I don't know if something bit me, or if I came in contact with a contagious person or plant.
