What Causes Itchy Scabs On The Knee While Suffering From Cellulitis?

I am a 30 year old black woman. I weigh 215 lbs and am 5'1 ( was 275 lbs a year ago). I was diagnosed with cellulitis twice in 2009. I continue to have scabs dissappear and reappear on my knees numerous times. They itch and hurt. I have never injured my knees so what is wrong?
