What Causes Itchy Welts On Legs?

New years weekend out at my dad's where he lives which is bush and not sure whether it was mozzies or marg flies but I came out in welts now on my legs and they're itchy as I've put cream on to stop the itch but it doesn't please help and I'm pregnant too so not sure what the go is
