What Causes Knots Around Naval?

My stomach feels like it ties in tight knots on either side of naval, doesn t last long but excruciating pain. Dr found a hernia however no show on c.t. scan its easy to set of knot just by wiping bum c.f. scan showed signs of Colitis however I am having 3_4 lbs per week
