What Causes Labia Minora Chapping, Itching And Burning With Urination Burning?

My labia minora is very chapped, itchy and burning. I tried vagasil the past two days and it burns when i put it on and has not stopped this painful itch. It burns the skin when I urinate. there is one red itchy burning bump or maybe it is swollen split skin from the skin being chapped. I'm worried I have an STD or that this bump is a sign of herpies, what is wrong with me?
