What Causes Large Fluid Filled Sac On The Elbow While Suffering From Protein Deficiency?

I have the protein deficiency Factor V. Yesterday, I noticed a somewhat large fluid sac on my elbow without any knowledge of bumping it. I started rubbing it and today the sac is gone but left a huge deep red discoloration of the skin. Should I be worried?
