What Causes Large Knot On Head?

I have a large knot on my head. It is about the size of a quarter. It is kinda hard, but when I touch it, it will move a little. I don't get headaches, and it only hurts a little when I press on it. It seems to have grown though in the past two years... Should I be worried? What could it be?
