What Causes Late Period, Mood Swings And Swollen Thighs After Cortisone Injection?

I had a coritsone injection in my shoulder 4 weeks ago. The first two weeks, my whole body would get flushed during and after exercising. I also believe I am experiencing water retention. One day my thighs will swell up and the next day they will look normal. This has never happened before. My period was also late and not normal (brown blood). I am very fatigued, been having mood swings and have weird sensations in my breasts. I took a pregnancy test and it has come back negative. Could these symptoms be related to the cortisone injection?
