What Causes Late Periods After Taking Birth Control Pills?

Hello, I was taking Yasmin birth control pills and skipping the placebos so only having a period 4 times a year. 2 months ago I switched to Loestrin 24 and I took my first placebo pill on Sunday and I got no period at all. I took a pregnancy test today and it said negative. What do I do now?
