What Causes Late Periods With A Negative Pregnancy Test?

I was 10 days late on my period. I tried a number of PG test.. all came out Negative. Could I still be pregnant? My normal period is on the 17th of every month. What was weird is I got some bleeding on the first of the month that lasted a day and a half.
