What Causes Left Nostril To Be Blocked Intermittently ?

i have my left nostril blocked on and off which makes my breathing difficult. I have had a spirometry done and the result was asthma.. However i feel it is not asthma becasue once my nostril is open I have no problem breathing. My constituition is slightly phlegmatic.
