What Causes Left-sided Stomach Pain And Kidney Stones?

I have stomach pain at left side. It is not like continuous pain, but appears intermittently. I have kindney stone problem as well, as I am dealing with Kindney stone prob since last 10 yrs, I have an idea about it's pain and this time, the left side stomach pain is something different than that. I have performed abdomen and pelvis sonography test recently. As usual small sizes, this time 3mm and 3.1mm kidney stones in left and right kidneys respectively has been detected in the Report.Could you please suggest what kinds of other checks I have to perform also what all precaustions I should take ?
