What Causes Left Sided Stomach Pain?

Hi, I have had pains in the left hand side of my stomach, sharp shooting pains. Also, trouble going to the toilet and stomach pains, alot of distention in the upper abdomen that has kept me awake or woken me up in the middle of the night. My mum has Coeliac disease and I have had problems in this area. My doctor has taken a series of blood tests and a stools test and has said it looks very likely that I too have Coeliac disease and that s not all. I don t know what else yet as I m seeing him on Wednesday. I feel very uncomfortable with alot of bloating and gas and smelly stools. I feel hungry and very full, all at the same time and I get heartburn and some burping at times. I have good energy although I do feel quite lethargic and I get headaches some times and feel very foggy headed. I get very irritable and angry and feel low at times. When I go to the loo I rarely feel empty afterward. I also have Diverticular disease and I m entering into Menopause. As well as this I incurred an episode of Anemia a year and a half ago which caused me to black out, which they put down to a change in periods and heavier blood loss. The Ferritin in my blood had gone down to 7. What questions should I ask my doctor please?
