Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have recently quit drinking alcohol, although I was never a super heavy drinker, I did indulge from time to time and for many years straight. I am 39 years old, I run daily and am otherwise very healthy. I have noticed slight swelling in my legs since I have quit all together (5 days now). I was wondering if this is normal? I drink tons of water, I urinate frequently. I have even had a CT scan recently and normal blood work (due to a UTI and pylonephritis) everything was normal. I was just wondering if there is any cause for concern here?
