What Causes Lengthwise Hollowed Out Ridges On Most Fingernails, Deeper

What causes lengthwise hollowed out ridges on most fingernails, deeper down center of left thumb and off-center valley on left ring finger? And off. center high ridge on left pointer finger? Also nail bed lesser pink, near white on both pointer fingers only. I know zinc deficiency is revealed in the white spots on the nails. Is there a fingernail chart to distinguish the root cause of funky nails?
