What Causes Lethargy And Loss Of Appetite Post Bout Of Diarrhea?

This is for my 91 year old mother. After having a diarrhea on Friday, she has been lethargic, eating little, antagonistic, very weak, sleeping a lot. Her meds are advair, spiriva for COPD, and high blood pressure pills (has been on medication for a number of years.)
