What Causes Light And Prolonged Periods While On Phentermine?

I started phetermine about a month ago and this time around my period is light? And brown and its been going on for 6 days now. Its not even enough to fill a tampon.. What could this be? I have taken phetermine before and i did the same thing but when i stopped it my period went back to normal.
