What Causes Light Brown Discharge After Having Intercourse?

My husband is a large man. lately when we are sexual sometimes it is painful because he is hitting something and I often bleed afterward. The last time a week ago slight blood but I still have a light brown discharge on my panties liners. Should I be concerned?
