What Causes Light Colored Stool?

My 13 month old granddaughter has been having very light colored bm's. Sunday, 1/11, at first it was normal then out came whitish colored poop. This Saturday morning it was a more yellowish color and then on Sunday she had a very running BM that was light yellowish. What do you think?
