What Causes Light Menstrual Bleeding With Short Duration?

Hi, My period usually lasts about five days, but last month it only lasted around 2 or 3 days.I noticed my last two days, the blood was really light pink and looked like a hot cheetoh substance. I m not sure how to explain it, but it is not usual for me. What could this mean?
