What Causes Light Menstrual Bleeding?

Hi, I ve had a regular period starting on october 14 and ending on October 19. Then on October 27 I started having light bleeding (darker than normal) until the 1st of November. It stopped for a few days, and then started on the 5th until today. What could cause this?
