What Causes Light Pinkish Discharge During Periods?

I am 24,I am now 4 days late, I took a hpt this morning and it was negative. I don't really have many symptoms of being pregnant. I have a mild headache, and a few cramps but nothing serious. I did have a tiny bit of lite pink discharge today when i wiped. If I was pregnant wouldn't it show up by now?
