What Causes Light Spotting And Pelvic Pain While Using Implanon?

Hi i have had the implanon for almost 12 months and have had light spotting once every 2-3 months. A few days ago i got alot of pelvic pain that felt similiar to small contractions (i havr had multiple miscarriages so i know the feeling well) and now i had bright red bleeding but it doesnt smell like period blood. I know it sounds odd but it just smells different. The smell reminds me of the bleeding i had after i had my daughter. Im quite concerned and my doctors office is closed. I need advice
