What Causes Lighter Periods?

i am currently experiencing a lighter period than normal and it is going onto day 11. my previous period started April 1st and the one before that february 5th. (my periods are usually heavy and last the average 6 days.) My boyfriend is concerned that i may be pregnant. what is going on?
