What Causes Lightheadedness After Recovering From Food Poisoning?

I recently had a nasty bout of food poisoning that sent me to the hospital. After Vomiting and diarrhea for two days I ve been left feeling lightheaded and dizzy. A week has passed and I feel like I ve recovered from the food poisoning, but I m still feeling completely lightheaded. Could this be a complication from the food poisoning?
