What Causes Lightheadedness And Swollen Ankle After An Injury?

I fell last week & cut my ankle/foot, over the last few days it s become extremely swollen, red with severe bruising. Today I began feeling ill, light headed with hot & cold flushes. Do I need to get an extra or will this go away on its on? Thanks Cath
