What Causes Lipoma On Chest And Stomach?

I have what seem to be lipomas all over my chest and stomach area. They seem to be growing very rapidly and the one right on the bottom ridge of my left side of my rib cage is about the size of a deck of cards, just not as thick. They are concerning me because I keep finding more and more where there hadn't been any before.
