What Causes Liquid Filled Bump On Lip?

I have a liquid filled bump on the inside of my lip that fills up and bursts and comes right back in around 3 days or so. I hurts really bad. I bit my lip there about 2 months ago and this has been happening ever since. What is it and what can I do to keep it from coming back?
