What Causes Long Periods After Having Contraceptive Pills?

dr i used unwanted 72 in october and then i had my regular periods in november bt in dec it was delayed from 2nd till 17th and moreover it extende tell 11 days and now after 13 days i m having another periods and its 8 days nw. is it a cause of using contraceptive?
