What Causes Loose Stools And Lower Back Pain Despite Treatment For C Diff?

My son has had two rounds of cdif. Just did a fecal transplant, it seemed to work for about a week but for the last ten days his symptoms have returned- loose stools and lower back and flank pain that is becoming more constant. He tested for cdif again today but no word yet ..the cdif followed antibiotics Any ideas?
