What Causes Loud Heartbeat Sound In Left Ear After Taking Augmentin?

I was diagnosed with sinus infection and started Augmentin today. However, years ago, I had TMJ surgery and the past 5 years, I get a heartbeat sound in my left ear. This past week is louder than ever. Sometimes I can turn my head a different way and it goes away. This sound is driving me crazy. I have taken mucinex, alegra, Motrin.
