What Causes Loud Noise In The Ear After Waking Up In The Morning?

I just woke up after sleeping through the night for about 7 hours and I turned over and in both my ears there was a pretty loud swishing noise. I am a 60 year old woman, weight 200. I take no medicines. I take a multi vitamin and a fish oil gel tablet every day. The noises were loud and I've never had that happen before. I have given birth to 4 children that are grown now. 30 or so years ago I had major surgery on my back for disc something or other. I have no back problems at all now. I'm pretty healthy except for being over weight. I usually walk my dog for about 15 minutes every day when there's not snow and ice outside.
