What Causes Low IgA Levels?

I was told after some blood work that my IgA levels were low, only 30, when they should be much higher.
I've been suffering with Diarrhea/watery stools for several months now, and was put on Lomotil to stop the Diarrhea. It worked, but then I was taken off it, because the doctor wanted to know what the cause was. I was given a Hydrogen Breath Test, which showed "small bowel bacterial overload." This was done in 2014. In 2013 blood work showed my Angiotensin converting Enzyme was 84, when it should have been between 9-67. I'd like some answers please and stop going to so many doctors and still have the problems.
