What Causes Low Hemoglobin Level And Bacteria In Blood Of A Child?

Hi my 4 years old son the side of his nick is painful and he got fever come and go. i been to the d.r and having laboratory test of his blood and urine. the result of his blood test the hemoglobin is a little bit low and have few bacteria in his blood his urine test are normal. hope your answer will help thanks
