What Causes Lower Back And Hip Pain?

I have terrible lower back pain and was diagnosed with Degenerative Spondylosis approx 6 years ago. For the last 3-4 weeks now the pain is there almost constantly and is now in my hips. Finding it difficult to put shoes on, dress and general household chores, even standing up and sitting down is difficult, could the condition have spread to my hips? Any advice, I had and MRI approx 6 years ago
