What Causes Lump In The Breast With Severe Weight Loss?

My daughter is 18 and in seemingly good health. Last night she found a quarter sized lump in her right upper quadrant of her right breast. She has been bruising easily and has lost approximately forty pounds since August. The weight loss we have been attributing to walking her dogs, but she has not been doing that as much lately and she continues to lose weight.
