What Causes Lump Like Sensation In The Throat?

Hello I have a weird lump sensation in the back of my throat. I have a history of bulimia but have not been sick for over 6mths. I have bad food allergies to wine cheese n chocolate among other things, and have been on zertec to relieve my itchy ears/throat and eyes lately quiet a lot. Do u have any suggestions for me of what it could be?
