What Causes Lump On The Lower Back Of Head?

hi, I have a lump on the lower back of my head following up on my spine which feels like a bone but protrudes unlike any others. I ve had it since I can remember but it always feels as though i have pressure built up under it and i feel the constant need to crack my neck. What could this be? thankyou
