What Causes Lump With Yellowish Bruising On Upper Thigh?

I have what I thought was a pimple in my upper thigh. It s now a hard lump, with some yellowish bruising around it. I thought it was a pimple that wouldn t come out so I poked it with a clean clean clean needle and just dark blood came out. It hurts, and the area around it is a little swollen. Any ideas what this could be?
