What Causes Lumps In Groin Associated With Peeling Of Dry Speckled Skin?

Male patient had a raised dark red sort of blister which broke and bled then dried up. Soon another one came near the area in the groin and it looks like it has two spots where a dry looking speck is coming out on it s own. He has never had anything like this before. He is 80 years old and concerned. In grown hair was suggested but why would another one come so close to the first one? Thanks for any help.
