What Causes Lumps On Penis?

my partner found a lump on his penis but rather than go to the doctor he self diagnosed it as peyronies disease and bought a jes extender to correct it. he now has two lumps. we have not been able to have sex for a year as a result and he wont go to the doctors as he is worried he will need an operation and that will take inches off the length. his confidence has dropped and he is getting depressed and our lack of intimacy is upsetting me now too. i just dont know what to do..
