What Causes Lumps On The Neck And Ear?

Hi doctor my son is having small gland in the neck on the left side and the other one in head near to his ear that is in the right side.
I showed the gland in the neck to a dr (peadiatrician) and he said nothing to worry. dr said he may hve this kind in the other parts of the body also. I doubt whether gland in the head near to the ear is the same kind or not
