What Causes Lumps Under The Scrotum Near The Base Of The Penis?

Hi. I m 48 years old 6 2 and 195 lbs, I found a lump, the lump is located inside the scrotum near base of Penis on the left side just below the skin. When I squeeze the lump there is no pain associated. Lump has been present for 5 days now and is the same size about big as a marble. I don t have fever and I m in good health. Currently not sexually active. Should I be concerned?
