What Causes Menstrual Cycle While On Nuvaring?

Hi doctor, im frightened of the thought that i may of had a premature miscarriage or am pregnant. I have been on the nuvaring for about 3 months and do not have a period. I was sexually active a few weeks ago and i just started and its not time to change it for another two days. This period wasnt suppose to come. Help?
