What Causes Menstruation With Long Duration Inspite Of Being On Birth Control Pills?

Hey. Recently I had my period last Wednesday and stopped on a monday. The next day when I wipe I see light blood. Still hasn t stopped yet. It s not my period still. I take birth control also. Can the pill cause anything with this? May something I will be taking it for a year. The random bleeding started last month also.
