What Causes Metallic Taste In Mouth, Excessive Thirst And Salivation?

About 2 weeks ago I was excessively thirsty for an entire day and never thought anything of it now for the last 4 days or so I ve had a mettalic taste in my mouth and extra saliva ... I do have thyroid disease though , not sure it that plays a roll or not
