What Causes Metallic Taste In Mouth With Persistent Ringing In Ears?

I have a metallic taste in my mouth which has been persistent for about a week. I also have ringing in my ears for approximately one year. I have chronic foot problem in right foot which was previously diagnosed as a heel spur but hasn t gotten better and now because of favoring the foot am having knee problem as well.
