What Causes Middle Back Pain With Tingling Sensation In Lower Ribs?

ok I have two totally different things going on at the same time i m just not sure which is worse or more important. One is I have this stabbing pain in mid back area on both sides with a pins and kniddles feeling in front lower ribs. Then my neck is so stiff and sore like whip lash feeling without any accident or injury. tried heat and ice. ibprophen with no relief.
