What Causes Milky Discharge From Incision Of Vulvectomy?

I have had a partial volvectomy 7 days ago, the area is still swollen, but went down abit, have a milky appearance dicscharge from the incisions, also seems that my outer skin, between my thighs, when comes in contact witha above fluide, has a rush effect, red and puffy, please let me know is it normal? thanks
